Advisory Board Members provide a crucial link between research and industry, to ensure our research aligns with industry needs.

EFTI recognizes the value and importance of partnering with leaders from the tourism industry to aid in the development, delivery, and promotion of faculty research. The Advisory Board works to establish UF as the premier university for Tourism Development through the active engagement of the Tourism Industry in support of EFTI and the Tourism Curriculum.

Friend of EFTI

The Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute relies on its partners, or Friends of EFTI, to gain industry insight and remain engaged in dialogue around industry trends. Friends of EFTI are critical in that they provide this insight, as well as advocate for the continued need for academic research to inform industry decision making. Friends of EFTI will be kept notified of EFTI Happenings and invited to participate in research and dialogue around the future of tourism.
